The US has removed the African country of Sudan from the list of state sponsored terrorists, giving huge relief. It is believed that America has given this gift to Sudan in return for giving political recognition to Israel. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo signed this notification on Monday and legally recognized it.
US ban on Sudan ended from today
The US Embassy in Sudan’s capital, Khartoum, has stated that the 45-day period of US Congress notifications has come to an end and the Foreign Minister has signed it. This order has come into effect from today. It is now to be published in the Federal Register. Let us know that Sudan was included in this list by the US in 1993.

अमेरिका ने अफ्रीकी देश सूडान को बड़ी राहत देते हुए राज्य प्रायोजित आतंकवाद (स्टेट स्पॉन्सर ऑफ टेररिज्म) की सूची से हटा दिया है। माना जा रहा है कि इजरायल के साथ राजनीतिक मान्यता देने के बदले अमेरिका ने सूडान को यह तोहफा दिया है। अमेरिकी विदेश मंत्री माइक पोम्पिओ ने सोमवार को इस अधिसूचना पर हस्ताक्षर कर इसे कानूनी रूप से मान्यता दे दी है।
सूडान पर आज से खत्म हुए अमेरिकी प्रतिबंध
सूडान की राजधानी खार्तूम में स्थित अमेरिकी दूतावास ने बताया है कि यूएस कांग्रेस की नोटिफिकेशन की 45 दिनों की अवधि खत्म हो गई है और विदेश मंत्री ने इसपर हस्ताक्षर कर दिया है। यह आदेश आज से प्रभावी हो गया है। अब इसे फेडरल रजिस्टर में प्रकाशित किया जाना है। बता दें कि सूडान को अमेरिका ने 1993 में इस सूची में शामिल किया था।
इजरायल से दोस्ती का मिला इनाम
अक्टूबर में ही सूडान ने इजरायल के साथ राजनयिक संबंध बहाल करने का ऐलान किया था। इस समझौते को अमलीजामा पहनाने में अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप का बड़ा हाथ बताया जाता है। इससे पहले ट्रंप की ही मध्यस्थता के कारण संयुक्त अरब अमीरात और बहरीन ने भी इजरायल के साथ अपने राजनयिक संबंध स्थापित किया था। बताया जा रहा है कि इस दोस्ती के कारण ही अमेरिका ने सूडान को यह बड़ी राहत दी है।
शांति की ओर बढ़ रहा सूडान
सूडान की अस्थायी सरकार ने पिछले महीने कई आतंकवादी समूहों के साथ शांति समझौता किया ताकि वर्षों से चल रहे गृह युद्ध को समाप्त किया जा सके जिसमें देश के लाखों लोग मारे गए । इसी सिलसिले में अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप ने घोषणा की थी कि वॉशिंगटन, सूडान को आतंकवाद के प्रायोजक देशों की सूची से हटा देगा।
राज्य प्रायोजित आतंकवाद वाली सूची में ये देश शामिल
अमेरिका के राज्य प्रायोजित आतंकवाद वाली सूची में ईरान, उत्तर कोरिया और सीरिया शामिल हैं। ईरान से अमेरिका की पुरानी दुश्मनी है। अमेरिका ने तो ईरान की सेना को ही आतंकवादी संगठन घोषित किया हुआ है। जबकि उत्तर कोरिया के किम जोंग उन की सनक के कारण यह देश भी राज्य प्रायोजित आतंकवाद की सूची में शामिल हैं। वहीं आईएसआईएस के आतंक से जूझ रहा सीरिया रूस से नजदीकी के कारण इस सूची में अब भी बना हुआ है। वहां के राष्ट्रपति बसर अल असद रूस के बड़े समर्थक हैं, जबकि अमेरिका सीरिया में दोस्त रहे कुर्द लड़ाकों का साथ छोड़ चुका है
