FIR registered in Lucknow Tandav film
Earlier, an FIR was registered against Tandava Webseries at Hazratganj Kotwali in Lucknow. This FIR has been lodged by the Sub Inspector of Hazratganj Kotwali. In this FIR, producer, director and writer of the webseries, including Amazon Prime’s India head Aparna Purohit, have been accused. A case has been registered against them in various sections like spreading malice and spreading unrest in society. Along with this, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken cognizance of the complaints against the web series and sought clarification from Amazon Prime Video.
BJP leader Kapil Mishra has sent a legal notice to Amazon Prime Video demanding that the web series ‘Tandava’ be immediately removed from his platform, otherwise criminal action will be initiated against him.
BJP MLA Ramkadam has filed a written complaint against the makers of the web series at Ghatkopar Police Station. He said, “There should be strict action against the producers, directors and actors of the web series.”
Earlier, BJP MP Manoj Kotak wrote a letter to Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar, requesting him to ban the web series ‘Tandava’. He said, “It seems that the makers of the Tandava have deliberately insulted Hindu gods and insulted Hindu religious sentiments.”

Meeting on Tandava film controversy took place today

Along with this, things which provoke religious sentiments have been said in the 22nd minute. At the same time, Indian Prime Minister has been introduced in this series in an indecent manner. The FIR states that the webseries also contains scenes that degrade castes and humiliate women.
