Redmi 7 has been one of the best selling smartphones of its time. This smartphone of Xiaomi came with MIUI 10 based on Android 10 in early 2019. Subsequently, the Redmi 7 smartphone received MIUI updates worldwide. Last week, the global variant of this phone started receiving Android 10 update. Now this smartphone has started getting this update in India too. Android 10 update for Redmi 7 in India is coming with build number V11.0.3.0.QFLINXM.
Currently available for only a few users
Currently, the update given in the Redmi 7 smartphone is in the ‘stable beta’ phase. Therefore, it is available for only a few users. If there is no major problem with the build of this update, then the company will soon make this update available to more users. The important thing is that Xiaomi is yet to start this update rollout for variants other than India, Global and China. The company may begin rollout for those variants in the coming days. In this update, features like color gradient animation for the status bar are available.
Android 10 may be the last major update to Redmi 7, as the world’s third largest company recently canceled the MIUI 12 update for this phone along with Redmi Y3, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A.
These smartphones will not get MIUI 12 update
Xiaomi has cited ‘compatibility and performance’ issues as the reason for not rolling out new operating system (OS) updates to Redmi smartphones. However, no details of these issues have been given, due to which they have been excluded from the list of new updates. Of these 4 Redmi smartphones, the Redmi 9 and Redmi Y3 phones came on the market with MIUI10 out of the box. Both these smartphones have received only MIUI 11 update, which can be a big concern for these Xiaomi users.

अभी कुछ ही यूजर्स के लिए है उपलब्ध
अभी, Redmi 7 स्मार्टफोन में दिया गया अपडेट ‘स्टेबल बीटा’ फेज में है। इसलिए, यह केवल कुछ ही यूजर्स के लिए उपलब्ध है। अगर इस अपडेट के बिल्ड के साथ कोई बड़ी प्रॉब्लम नहीं आती है तो कंपनी जल्द ही इस अपडेट को और यूजर्स तक उपलब्ध करा देगी। अहम बात यह है कि शाओमी को भारत, ग्लोबल और चीन के अलावा दूसरे वेरियंट्स के लिए अभी यह अपडेट रोलआउट शुरू करना है। कंपनी आने वाले दिनों में उन वेरियंट्स के लिए रोलआउट शुरू कर सकती है। इस अपडेट में स्टेटस बार के लिए कलर ग्रेडिएंट एनीमेशन जैसे फीचर मिलते हैं।
एंड्रॉयड 10, Redmi 7 के लिए आखिरी बड़ा अपडेट हो सकता है, क्योंकि दुनिया की तीसरी सबसे बड़ी कंपनी ने हाल में Redmi Y3, Redmi 6 और Redmi 6A के साथ इस फोन के लिए MIUI 12 अपडेट को रद्द कर दिया गया था।
इन स्मार्टफोन्स को नहीं मिलेगा MIUI 12 अपडेट
Redmi स्मार्टफोन्स को नया ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम (OS) अपडेट रोलआउट न करने की वजह शाओमी ने ‘कॉम्प्टैबिलिटी और परफॉर्मेंस’ इश्यूज बताए हैं। हालांकि, इन इश्यूज का कोई डीटेल नहीं दिया गया है, जिसकी वजह से इन्हें नए अपडेट की लिस्ट से बाहर किया गया है। इन 4 रेडमी स्मार्टफोन्स में से Redmi 9 और Redmi Y3 फोन MIUI10 आउट ऑफ द बॉक्स के साथ मार्केट में आए। इन दोनों स्मार्टफोन्स को केवल MIUI 11 अपडेट मिला है, जो कि इन शाओमी (Xiaomi) यूजर्स के लिए चिंता की बड़ी बात हो सकती है।
